Voodoo Vintage Fabrication Girder Front End – RELIC

Voodoo Vintage Fabrication Girder Front End – RELIC

There are so many innovations on this puppy it's freaking crazy! Not satisfied with your rake? No problem! Same goes for the fork length. Adjust both with very little effort and switch back again when you are ready! Custom shock brackets may also be used to accommodate various length shock absorbers and to adjust fork length in addition to the Axle Clevis Adjustment.

Safety is a priority! Nightmare scenario, your steering stem nut becomes loose or falls off altogether (a well-known issue with girder style front ends). On the RELIC front end, the lower active link pin serves as a redundant safety backup system by preventing the lower tree from separating from the steering assembly.

Another cost saving feature - Built in accommodation for an internal fork stop. Use a "bearing race style" fork stop (available on site) and don't worry about drilling and tapping holes. Everything is already taken care of!

Accommodations are provided for numerous style front brake systems and the axle bushings can be machined to just about any size Standard or Metric.

The RELIC is available in raw steel ($895 Retail) and Gloss Black powder-coat ($1095 Retail). Shock absorber and Axles are purchased separately or you can source your own. Standard lengths include 18", 22", and 26". However... We will fabricate the RELIC to just about any custom length needed. (Additional cost may apply)

Additional components are available for purchase including a variety of shock absorbers, turn stops, axles, spacers, and bushings.

In all, the RELIC front-end is an updated twist on early American technology and a fresh new option for seekers of classic style.

Voodoo Vintage Fabrication announces it's release of a traditional designed leaf-spring front end - VELOCITY

Voodoo Vintage has built a name for their wide range of frame designs targeting Japanese, European, and American motorcycles. Current offerings include twelve base design styles spanning a multitude of engine platforms with several new frame designs in progress.

After two years of development, Voodoo Vintage has released it's traditional version of a leaf-spring front end. With exception to a few “updated” design elements, the VELOCITY front end closely replicates that of the early Indian Motorcycles leaf-spring front suspension.

The VELOCITY currently retails for $1095 Raw Steel and $1295 Gloss Black Powder-coated. (axle not included)

The VELOCITY leaf-spring front end features a rigid design element in that the main leg is monolithic and unlike most designs, continues from the lower rocker connection all the way through the lower clamp support and up through the toptree connection. This reduces the opportunity for fatigue fracture at the lower clamp junction.

Our top-trees are fabricated in-house and feature 1/2” riser mount holes distanced 3-1/2” apart allowing the use of traditional style Harley Davidson and Japanese handlebars with knurls of the same dimension. The top-tree may be mounted with the riser holes forward or rearward allowing placement options for the end user. The top-tree is secured to the forks using 1” sleeves positioned 4-1/2” apart. This is the same dimension as the early Harley Davidson Springer front end and allows the use of standard after-market top clamps including the Hollywood type handlebars and dog-bone type triple clamps.

The forward struts of the VELOCITY front end feature an updated “curved” design that brings a fresh new look to this tried-and-true front end system. Suspension can be “tuned” by adding or removing individual leafs depending on the customers preference. The included steering stem is machined from 1” 4130 rod and threaded 1-24. Custom stems may be easily fabricated allowing native installation to European and Japanese applications.

A new feature of the VELOCITY front end is the “Double Rocker” system that can be flipped vertically to allow alteration of finished axle height. The “Double Rocker” is machined to accept a standard 3/4” front axle and has enough width to allow the use of a typical double flanged front rim.

“We target the individual builder interested in producing his/her own custom motorcycle within a limited budget. Our frames and components closely replicate an era of classic motorcycle design commonly found through the early 20th Century when the sport of Board Track Racing was prevalent.” - David Roy

We would like to welcome Voodoo Vintage to the Chop Cult family!

VOODOO VINTAGE est. 2009, is located in beautiful Austin, Texas- A region of the Texas Hill Country with a popular fusion of culture and arts. Inspiration and imagination are never hard to find in the "Live Music Capital of the World"!

GENESIS: Our inception was based on a "missing market" for classic European and Japanese custom components. Tired of the "fat tire" scene, we established a business plan to offer hand crafted vintage style frames and accessories without breaking the bank!

OUR PRODUCTS: Everything we offer is designed, built, and tested right here in Austin Texas. Our products are shipped in raw steel allowing the customer their choice of final fitment and finish.

WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE: Eventually, Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki, Triumph, Norton, BMW, Enfield, BSA, Harley, Buell, and most others will be incorporated in all our frame designs. We don't want to dominate the marketplace, but we DO intend to offer the widest selection of frames available for early European, Japanese, and American classics!

NEW PAYMENT OPTIONS: We've had a lot of customers ask us about financing or layaway plans. Be sure to check out the interest free six month financing offered by PayPal! What a great way to "spread out the load"!
