SUBMISSIONS FOR THE 2020 GREASY DOZEN BUILDER COLLECTIVE ARE NOW OPEN!!!

"Do you have a build that's been dragging, did life get in the way? It's time to dust it off! Once again, we are putting a focus on stalled projects and giving people support and a reason to turn out a show-quality bike they can be proud of!

First off, everyone always wants to know what they will get or how the winner is chosen. So let's clarify a few things it's not a competition all 12 selected builders get support via gift cards. There are technically 12 winners, chosen by our team with a lucky 13 winner announced the day after the first 12. The 13th is always a unique background story or someone in hardship, hence the lucky 13th!

Who can win? We focus on garage builders and small shops with two employees or less. We want to help people finish builds where life got in the way, giving them support and the camaraderie of connecting with 12 other builders via our builder group DM. You will have about six months to complete your build in time to attend the run. (Details to come about the run)

What you win is gift cards from a long list of great companies that have supported the #greasydozenbuildercollective to name a few: Old Bike Barn, Biltwell, Lowbrow Customs, Led Sled Customs, Indian Larry Motorcycles, ChopCult, and S&S Cycle. The Greasy Dozen Builder Collective has always been about giving back to the average joe that supports these companies, with support going directly to the builders from our awesome sponsors. Part of the DNA of the GD is that it's about giving back to the community, not monetizing it. The event its self, including fireside giveaways, cookout, preparty, bands, and camping, is 100% funded by oldbikebarn.com. We have given away over $100,000 in prizes and support this way, and while its work to put it on, its a labor of love to give something back to the motorcycle community." - The Greasy Dozen

Good Luck, everyone.

There are three categories: Chopper, Cafe Racer, Tracker

NorCal Cycle Swap's 2017 Schedule

Our friends at the NorCal Cycle Swap have reserved the West Wind Drive- In for the following dates: February 5, April 23, July 23 and November 5.

"The Nor Cal Cycle Swap is going on our fourth year since we acquired it from Topping Events and we’re proud to say it's grown quite a bit.

On a good swap Sunday, you’ll be greeted by 100 plus vendors hawking anything two-wheel related, and you’ll get a chance to mingle with the 1,000 or so guys and gals that have made the trip to purchase parts for their freedom machines.

We’ve grown the meet by using non-traditional advertising like Craigslist and Instagram as well as a few pertinent printed publications like ThunderRoads, which is heavily focused on the Nor Cal bike scene.

Another way we’ve grown is by teaming up with good partners like the Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys, Old Stf Mike, Superior Goods Leather Co., Sailor Jerry Rum, 805 beer, RAM trucks, The Horse Backstreet Choppers Magazine, the Dyna and FXR Parts Trader on Instagram and of course, our longtime friends at Biltwell and ChopCult.

We love to bring our little swap to the West Wind Drive-In four times a year and try to incorporate at least one planned group ride a year preceding the soiree.

We’d like to thank the guys that have helped us since day one and we look forward to year number 4 with our friends north of the Delta. Cheers!" -Otto

Click here to reserve your spot and be sure to follow NorCal Cycle Swap on Facebook and Instagram. ChopCult is proud to support the NorCal Cycle Swap through 2017!

This weekend folks- Midwest Moto Swap

WHO:
Lovers of antiquated modes of two wheeled transportation. Those who value building things with their own two hands. People of the mindset that time in the garage and on the open road is better spent than most other endeavors.

WHAT:
A proper crusty swap meet. Buy, sell and swap new, used and vintage motorcle parts. American, British, Japanese, European, if it has two wheels and a motor it is welcome here. Throw in a killer judged bike show and loads of great raffle prizes and stir.

WHEN:
Saturday, June 14th, 2014. Vendor setup is the day before 4pm - 7pm and day of from 6 - 9 a.m. Event is 9 a.m. - 4 p.m, rain or shine.

WHERE:
Medina County Fairgrounds
735 Lafayette Rd. (U.S. 42), Medina, OH 44256

WHY:
The thrill of the hunt is what makes swap meets so much fun. Too many swaps full of fringed jackets, do-rags and insurance salesmen is starting to jade motorcycle enthusiasts everywhere. Enter a simple event, cheap for vendors, cheap for attendees, chock full of good times and cool parts, and it even starts at a decent hour.
