Here's some exciting news for you. ChopCult has a new owner, and it's someone that most of you know already. Drumroll, please.....Please help me welcome Zach Boxx, owner of Throttle Addiction, to the ChopCult Family. Zach bought the website on March 1, 2022, but he wanted the focus to remain on the community (as it should be). Zach and his team have a lot of things in the works for CC in 2023 that we'll talk about soon. Please go to www.throttleaddiction.com to check out Zach's motorcycle offerings, and follow Throttle Addiction on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.- Lisa
"We completed the cleanup of our chopper's front end! In this video, Seth shows how to install a set of aftermarket hand controls. In part one of our front-end clean-up series, Seth rebuilt the front forks, turned down the front fender mounts, and installed fork tube cap extensions. Check that video out here."- Throttle Addiction
Seth shows how to remove the fender mounts from Sportster fork lowers. He also removes the reflectors, rebuilds the forks and installs fork tube extension caps. This is the first half of our two part video series on cleaning up the front end of our Evolution Sportster chopper running Throttle Addiction's Deluxe Sportster Hardtail kit.
One lucky winner will receive this custom Throttle AddictionFrisco Sportster Peanut Tank modified by Curt Bennett at 4th Floor Choppers. Curt put in numerous hours modifying this tank and added the ChopCult Lightning Bolt motif. He also engraved the gas cap and is donating a 4th Floor Choppers hat.
The Born-Free custom motorcycle show is known world-wide for good reason. More than 30 elite bike builders grind it out in their garages for months, prepping their best work for this show. At stake is the notoriety of being declared the best-of-the-best. A few coveted spots at the 30th Mooneyes Hot Rod Custom show in Yokohama, Japan also sweeten the pot. We took our time filming each of these insane bikes, so you can drink in all the sweet details from the comfort of your couch. The night before Born-Free is another fierce battle between bike builders.
The Biltwell People's Champ competition is held at the legendary Cook's Corner bike bar, a few miles down the road from Born-Free. 6 finalists from a pool of hundreds ride their choppers to the show for a shot at ten grand and a place at Born-Free with the invited builders. We made sure to shoot all of their bikes as well. Not to be forgotten, are the hundreds of ride-ins, vendor bikes, and special guests. We couldn't include all of these, but we threw in a couple we know you'll dig.
One of the most recognizable bicycles of all time just hit its growth spurt thanks to Sean Skinner at Motorelic. Sean started this project back in 2016 by creating a custom frame. Then he found a re-phased 1978 Yamaha XS650 engine and went from there. We caught up with him at Mama Tried 2022 to get a closer look at the finished product.
Some families play board games. Others sell OEM Knuckleheads for $800, take over small-town graveyards, and rip 1949 Panhead frames off each other. Welcome to the Rodriguez shop in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; where Bill and Carlos are working to pass their passion for vintage motorcycles on to future generations. They were kind enough to invite us on a tour of their shop and shared stories with us about the impressive bikes they’ve built. Please give the video a like and subscribe to our channel!

Making a sissy bar for you chopper can be tricky business, so we took the hardest part and did that for you. Cutting and welding is easy, it's the bending that can be a headache. These bars are CNC bent right here in Wisconsin. All you have to do is trim to length, add in the mounts, tabs or bungs of your choice and weld it up. You're off to chopper glory!
Specs:
9/16 Cold rolled steel
32 inches overall height
Sissy bar will be roughly 20 inches high above fender
9 inches between lower legs
