Save the Date - November 16, 2013 - "Escape to Hazzard County 2" presented by Lady Hump and The Gasser Lounge

November 16th, 2013 The Gasser Lounge and Lady Hump Magazine proudly present the next round of campout calamity; the "Escape to Hazzard County 2" Camping Trip.

$45 gets you an EVENT SHIRT (with event access; Camp spot in our new much larger private group area, BBQ lunch, Homemade Chili dinner by Lady Hump's own Lady Alizon, Raffle Tickets, and a ton of other cool stuff thrown into your own goodies-bag which you'll pick up at the registration booth upon entry. This camping trip is 21 / OVER ONLY ~ Once again this year, there will be FREE Beer and Moonshine at the open Hazzard County Hay-Bar! )
The cost is less than what you'd spend if you went out and did it all on your own. But the best part is, you get to do it all in the company of the Good ol' Boys from The Gasser Lounge and Lady Hump! If you were one of the lucky 100+ people in attendance at last years Hazzard County, you already know the value of what you're getting.

At approx. 130 miles North of the Gasser Lounge in Redondo Beach, we're setting up camp at a new location. A private campground near last year's event at Lake Cachuma, and still inside Hazzard County. 20 miles above Santa Barbara, but not quite to Solvang, (legally) in Santa Barbara County. There are plenty of twisty roads nearby if you gotta get out and tear up some roads and there's also a motorcycle museum in nearby Solvang (less than 15 miles away) you might consider adding to your weekend.

Last year we were restricted to "acoustic" live music, but this years line up will be amplified and rock late into the night! The Raffle will be held after dinner on Saturday night, and will once again include helmets donated by Biltwell and painted by Kit (Wuss Bros.), plus a slew of other products from a buttload of sponsors...

This is a friendly camping trip, put on by your friends (us) for our friends (you). This isn't a money maker by any means, but we need to charge you for the shirt so we can provide everything else included during this weekend.

Parking will NOT be an issue this year. Motorcycles and vehicles are both invited, although parking for autos is off the main camp/stage area. Van's or HotRods we'll make the exception for. Your shaky bucket Ford Fiesta, not so much (you'll park in the lower area).

Straight up talk now; NO DICK HOLES. Leave the totally bogus attitudes at home and gather round the camp fire with your old and new friends as we drink the night away.... This is a RAIN OR SHINE event. No cancellations. No refunds. There's plenty of stage and tree coverage for tents so don't panic yer purty self.

Lady Hump's "Special Blend" Coffee and a Continental Possum Breakfast will be provided Sunday morning.

There will be NO EVENT DAY SALES. You must purchase your event SHIRT through the Lady Hump Big Cartel store prior to the event CLOSE DATE of Nov. 1st. Everything we're coordinating is based on your pre-purchase; attendance, food, alcohol, shirt size, etc. etc. Don't be that one lame party crasher that we turn away at the gate... that would really suck for you, and all your friends would disown you.

Email updates, directions, weather reports and anything else we might think necessary to alert you to before the trip, will be forwarded to the email address attached to your paypal payment so please make sure you have a active EMAIL ADDRESS on file with your payment.

Looking for new blogs for the Blogdump

Chop Cult provides a free service for quality motorcycle related blogs known as our Blogdump. We are currently seeking blogs that use the Blogger format and cater to the following:

1.) Current Events / Historical Events

Does your blog report on local / national moto/chopper/bobber/sickbobber/or violentlyill'n bobber event(s) before and after they happen? Does your blog incorporate a good spread of photographs (eye candy) and information to entice the blog-reader into following your blog? Do you write reviews or stories? How about old bike stuff. Maybe you used to go to all the shows and events in the 70's/80's and all you do is share those old grey beard, black beard, red beard "back in the day" photos, lessons, tricks n' tips. Cool.

2.) Originality

Are you stealing pics or taking the time to go out and take your own? Is your shit jacked? Is your shit whack? Is your blog filled with YouTube music links? Are your posts in-line with the Chop Cult focus (Your kids birthday pictures at Knotts Berry Farm might be super cute, but add little the to Chop Cult collective... ain't no body got time for dat)?

3.) Reliability and History

Can we count on your blog to post regularly; not once a month, then twice the next, then not again for two more...? Daily posts aren't required, but you should consider a weekly post (or two) to be a standard of expectation. How long have you been blogging? Is your blog brand new (first post; today's date) or do you have a couple strong solid months or years in your archives to back up your game? Effort, you gotta put it in.

4.) All these suggestions are subjective~!

Your blog might have something so special and informative, that we'd be willing to "bend" the above suggestions/standards, but what would that be? Show us! If not (and probably not) expect to be held in review...
