Dear ChopCult members currently posting classifieds,
When you signed up for free membership on ChopCult.com, you agreed to the rules in place. We are seeing many members abusing the classified section posting instructions /rules /guidelines. We need to keep the classifieds running smoothly together by keeping the standardization uniform.
Please don't use ChopCult Classifieds to direct members to listings on other sites (Webpages, Bigcartel stores, Instagram, eBay, CL, etc.)
Ads with nudity will be removed • Please post your location and price in ALL ads
For example: 1974 Harley-Davidson Sportster - $5000.00 - Boston, MA
Do not post more than four ads in a single day, combine your listings if needed
Do NOT send money through PayPal as a GIFT for payment on any classified. • We highly recommend that you use an escrow service (such as www.escrow.com) for large amounts to prevent fraudulent deals; it gives the Buyer the chance to get his/her money back before funds are released to the seller.
We have seen an influx of outsourced links, and that's prohibited. Please remove all links from your postings as soon as possible. Members who keep abusing these rules will be blocked from posting further classifieds, without warning (consider this your reminder to follow our posting guidelines).
Thank you,
The ChopCult team

Biltwell Goes To Bonneville
It's always been a dream of mine to visit Bonneville and experience racing at its finest. Our friends at Biltwell just came back home and put together a sweet video and blog post about their journey. -Lisa
"Bonneville Speed Week happens once a year on the vast expanse of a desolate, dry lake bed about 100 miles west of Salt Lake City, Utah. The second you drive onto the salt it’s easy to see why people try to break land speed records there. Every direction you look is a flat, all-white landscape that makes you want to just hit the rev limiter on what ever you are driving or riding. The ground is smoother than asphalt in most places, and there are zero obstacles to avoid."- Biltwell

Event Coverage: The Stampede

The Born-Free show has always been about bringing like-minded enthusiasts together. This year was no different, but there was a unique attraction that brought fellow racers together for the love of slamming bars and going fast for a couple of hot laps called The Stampede. The Stampede took place at the historic Costa Mesa Speedway in Costa Mesa, California, which has provided racers a safe environment for them to hone their craft since 1969. Mike Davis and Grant Peterson worked hand-and-hand with the Speedway staff and created a night to remember.

Kernville Kampout 2017
We are proud to support the Kernville Kampout once again! The Biltwell crew is working overtime to create an event like no other.
"We had a blast last year and hope you did too. We’re gonna change things up a little bit for 2017. There’s gonna be an entry fee to help cover the cost for more music, better sound, booze, mechanical bull, super-nice awards, security, trash pickup, etc. Advance tickets cost $30 per person and cover your camping for two nights. If you just want to camp one night, it’s the same cost. (We gotta pay for the campground for the whole weekend no matter how many nights you show up.) We are limiting the number of tickets and the spots are first-come-first serve like they’ve been the last two years." - Biltwell Inc.
FOR YOUR $30 YOU GET:
Camping for Friday and Saturday night
Kernville Kampout 2017 patch
All the 805 beer and Sailor Jerry rum & Cokes you can drink (until it runs out) at the bar (just like 2016)

We need your help!
Hello, I have noticed a trend on Facebook, and ChopCult needs your help. It seems the fine folks at Facebook have capped CC's page to stay between 249-250,000 followers. This has been going on for the past two years, and I'm not sure why. It should be growing like the rest of the social media outlets ChopCult uses. If you are a Facebook user, kindly give CC's page a follow. We will not be paying Facebook for fake followers or for the page to get more views. That's not our goal; our goal is to build a better community, one enthusiast at a time. Thanking you in advance! -Lisa

Let The Good Times Roll Brooklyn
ChopCult member Tim Vanderbas is a solid guy who builds some of the neatest bikes around. He always seems super stoked on life and those who surround him. He has recently dealt with news that his partner in crime/ girlfriend Lauren is ill and has a long road to recovery. "As some of you may have heard and known my partner/girlfriend, Lauren Cannoli was diagnosed with cervical cancer and possibly more as the tests come in, a few weeks back ago. In recent weeks she has undergone various tests and surgery to check suspect spots on multiple lymph nods, as well as moving her ovaries out of the way of possible chemo/radiation therapy, needed if this biopsy comes back positive. The good news is that the preliminary test from the surgery show that cancer was not found in the lower lymph nods nearest to the tumor in the cervix. We are currently waiting for the test results from the upper lymph nods that were sent to a lab to be further examined. At this stage, chemo may not be needed, but a hysterectomy will be performed at a date not yet known but is happening sooner than later.
Lauren has been out of work since the tests began July 13 and for the next few months will have long periods of being laid up in bed, not being able to go up and down stairs or be mobile much if at all for extended periods of times. We have not had many concrete answers if there are going to be payments not covered by her insurance towards all the tests, scans, surgeries and possible chemo treatments.
Lauren needs our help financially to take the burden off her month to month rent, bills, food and for prescriptions, etc. as she will have no means to pay for these things during the next few months. She has no paid leave or any income during this time. We will be updating you on her further treatments and her progress.
Thank you so much to all that have reached out with well wishes and support. Please come to Lauren's KickN' cancers ass N Keep On Rock N' Rolling Motorcycle/ Hot Rod Benefit Show!!!! Saturday, August 26 from noon - till as long as you make the party last!! We are located at 257 Kent St. Brooklyn, NY. 11222
There will be Awesome Bands, Dj's, raffles, stuff n things, an art auction, beer, booze and BBQ
If you would like to help out by sending art work or to donate other products to be raffled and or auctioned off please send to address above and also email/ call me."
Thanks,
Timothy (Vander)
