New Giveaway from Kayla Koeune

I reached out to some of my artist friends to see if they'd like to create art for CC's Lets Bring Back The Fun movement. For those unaware of this movement, it's achieved through you sharing your photographs and memories of happier times with your family and friends. It's a way to take back social media and get you to step away from the news for a bit. For the artists involved, it's a way for them to keep their artistic juices flowing, create the piece of art, sell the art, and make some money in the process. When I presented this opportunity to my dear friend Kayla Koeune, she jumped at the chance. But if you know Kayla, you know she always has another plan up her sleeve ( I think that's why I love her so). Kayla created a coloring book page for the kiddos and adults to use through her #ArtForGood project and would like to gift a fellow artists some goodies from her studio. All ages welcomed to enter. Happy coloring! - Lisa

The rules:

Download this Page - (Use promo code FreeColor), Print and Color for Free, Post It On Instagram, and Tag & Follow @KaylaInfernoArt and @Chopcult.  A panel will vote and the winner will be announced on April 2nd!

Prize Pack - 18x24 Print of Mountain Run, a copy of  Kayla and Jessi's book "Joey and the Chopper Boys" signed by Kayla, an Inferno Art Studio Pin, and Stickers!

#ArtForGood Project
- This project stems from my desire to put more good out in the world in order to leave it better than I found it. Net Proceeds of these pieces are donated to organization who are out doing good work. Whether it's teaching, maintaining our parks, cleaning our oceans, planting trees or responding to crisis. #ArtForGood is a way I can do my part to help. No one is ever too small to make a positive difference! -Kayla Koeune

Help Joe Koenigsmark at Angel Dust Paint

"We made this Angel Dust shirt happen with a small group of our friends. Joe Koenigsmark doesn't know a thing about it. Joe IS Angel Dust Cycle Paint! He is probably reading this right now, pissed off but feeling the love as well. Joe had some surprise health issues earlier this year, so we decided to do something to help him out. He is a second generation hot rod and custom painter, a one-man shop, doing paint work full-time for over 30 years.
We think that Joe is one of the best people in the world. If you are one of Joe's many friends made through bicycles, motorcycles, hot rods, skateboarding or music then you understand. Buy a super cool shirt, and 100% of the purchase price goes to Joe for medical bills. He will probably try and refuse it, but we won't let him.
Shirt artwork by Joe's brother from another mother, Shawn Long / Imperial House 71. Please spread the word and tell people to visit this page by going to www.lowbrowcustoms.com/joe. Thank you!"- Lowbrow Customs

Welcome Gnarly Magazine to the ChopCult family

Gnarly Magazine is a brand new print publication, featuring kustom kulture artists such pinstripers, lowbrow artists, sign painters, sculptors, modelers, airbrush artists, tattooers, hot rod/bike builders, comic artists, and more.
"I started Gnarly Magazine as a creative way to showcase artists who wouldn’t otherwise be making it into “mainstream” art magazines. The dedication to their craft and tradition is something that I admired and wanted to build a magazine around. And, since I have no mechanical abilities and have had zero success at mastering a Mack pinstriping brush, I figured I’d do something more in my wheelhouse: publish a gnarly magazine!

Gnarly also showcases artists through online art competitions held at the blog at GnarlyMagazine.com. Upcoming contests include tiki art, motorcycle helmet art, Rat Finks, skateboard art, and monster art. The goal here isn't to see who's the best at drawing/painting/sculpting/airbrushing/tattooing a Rat Fink, but to promote fantastic artists. Through all of the artists promoting on their social media sites –getting people to vote for their art entry– many people are discovering artists who they may not have seen before the contests. In addition to the print edition, you can view Gnarly Magazine on mobile devices via the Magzter app or Magzter.com."-Johnny

Gnarly Magazine featured artists:
Summer 2017 - BOMONSTER

Fall 2017 - BigToe

Winter 2018 - Darren McKeag

You can subscribe here and follow Gnarly Magazine on Instagram! We'd like to thank Mr.OZ for helping ChopCult and Gnarly Magazine come together.

Artist Showcase with Gorgeous George

Not many folks are familiar with George Jeffreys, but most know the talented artist Gorgeous George. George has been the primary factor in helping brands and events gain notoriety by creating killer artwork for each avenue. I had the opportunity to cross paths with George many years ago, and I can honestly say that he's one of the good ones. He's supportive, down to earth, and always has a smile on his face no matter how crazy his workload is. George has many irons in the fire, and has even begun to put together an ongoing ‘zine called Smut Butt Magazine that will focus on the man behind the machine. Please take a moment to learn more about my friend. -Lisa
