Dear ChopCult members

Just a friendly reminder for those using the classified section:

Please don't use ChopCult Classifieds to direct members to listings on other sites (Webpages, Bigcartel stores, eBay, CL, Instagram, etc.).

Ads with nudity will be removed.

Please add the item name, location, and price to the title, upload a photo and give a brief or detailed description of the item for sale.

Do not post more than five (5) ads in a single day; combine your listings if needed.

Do NOT send money through PayPal as a GIFT for payment on any classified.

Take the time to check out the seller and make sure they are legit.

We highly recommend that you use an escrow service (such as www.escrow.com) for large amounts to prevent fraudulent deals; it gives the Buyer the chance to get his/her money back before funds are released to the seller.

Friendly reminder for the classified section

Dear ChopCult members currently posting classifieds,

When you signed up for free membership on ChopCult.com, you agreed to the rules in place. We are seeing many members abusing the classified section posting instructions /rules /guidelines. We need to keep the classifieds running smoothly together by keeping the standardization uniform.

Please don't use ChopCult Classifieds to direct members to listings on other sites (Webpages, Bigcartel stores, Instagram, eBay, CL, etc.)

Ads with nudity will be removed • Please post your location and price in ALL ads

For example: 1974 Harley-Davidson Sportster - $5000.00 - Boston, MA

Do not post more than four ads in a single day, combine your listings if needed

Do NOT send money through PayPal as a GIFT for payment on any classified. • We highly recommend that you use an escrow service (such as www.escrow.com) for large amounts to prevent fraudulent deals; it gives the Buyer the chance to get his/her money back before funds are released to the seller.

We have seen an influx of outsourced links, and that's prohibited. Please remove all links from your postings as soon as possible. Members who keep abusing these rules will be blocked from posting further classifieds, without warning (consider this your reminder to follow our posting guidelines).

Thank you,

The ChopCult team

Do you post in the classifieds section?

Hello, we have a small issue in the classifieds section that needs your attention. Some members are publishing more than 3 classified listings a day. There are simple rules that need to be followed. Those choosing not to comply with the rules will have their ads deleted and your ability to post classifieds will be revoked as well.

Classified rules:

- Please don't use ChopCult Classifieds to direct members to listings on other sites (Webpages, Bigcartel stores, eBay, CL, etc)

- Ads with nudity will be removed

- Please post your location and price in ALL ads.

- Do not post more than three ads in a single day, combine your listings if needed.

- Do NOT send money through PayPal as a GIFT for payment on any classified.

- We highly recommend that you use an escrow service (such as www.escrow.com) for large amounts to prevent fraudulent deals; it gives the Buyer the chance to get his/her money back before funds are released to the seller.

Thanks for understanding.

Happy selling and hunting! - Lisa
