Mama Tried Motorcycle Show and Harley Davidson present the 2nd bi-annual Flat Out Friday indoor flat track motorcycle race on October 7th at the UWM Panther Arena.
Flat Out Friday is an indoor, flat track, motorcycle race on a Dr. Pepper soda syrup surface. The dried syrup will allow the bikes to stick to the floor for maximum traction and speed. Competing in nine racing classes, riders arrive Friday from all over the country. Highlights include a class of American Motorcycle Association racing pros, Hooligan class and Youth 85.
American Motorcycle Association Pros include Parker Lange, Cole Fealy, Christian Johnson and Dan Jacoboson. Hooligan riders include Harley-Davidson Motor Company riders Scott Jones, Brandon Gonzalez, Mark Atkins and Chris Wiggins arriving from California.
This race weekend kicks off with Flat Out Friday Bike Night at the Harley-Davidson Museum where guests can hang with fellow riders, meet the racers, and enjoy live music by Joseph Huber.
In connection with the Mama Tried Motorcycle Show, Flat Out Friday premiered in February 2016 with a record-breaking crowd of over 8,000. Prior to the inaugural Flat Out Friday, Milwaukee had not witnessed a race of this sort since 1980.
The 4th Annual Mama Tried Motorcycle Show, presented by Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, is scheduled for February 17th and 18th, 2017. Events to include Flat Out Friday, the Mama Tried Motorcycle Invitational, the Harley-Davidson Museum’s Mama Tried Pre-Party and an AMA Ice Race.
