This weekend - The Redwood Rumble

"We are proud to bring the Redwood Rumble II back to Santa Cruz, Ca. This iconic motorcycle event is the best thing to happen to our sleepy coastal town in years. Live music, great food, full bar, chopper show, rubber mount show, motorcycle swap meet and a scenic ride through the redwoods to kick it all off. This is a family friendly event and all ages are welcome! Bring the kids out and show them what it’s like. Lots of vendors and the best bikes Northern California has to offer. Last year was a blast and this year is setting up to be even better! See you there! $10 at the gate. Swap meet spaces are $30 and include entry. 7/29 - 2nd Annual Redwood Rumble - Santa Cruz, CA

Basket Case Magazine is proud to bring the second annual Redwood Rumble back to Northern California. As the first custom motorcycle show of this kind to grace Santa Cruz, CA, this all-day event will start with a gathering at a local skate park followed by a pack ride through the redwoods to the destination of our event. The actual event will include a custom motorcycle show featuring a chopper division as well as a rubber mount division. Live music, vendors, a swap meet, and a huge raffle. All your favorite things to guarantee a good time!

"Santa Cruz, California is an idyllic setting for a motorcycle show, with tons of great riding along the coast and in the redwoods. Our goal is to celebrate the diverse community of builders and riders here in Northern California, who build bikes and ride the living hell out of them. The Redwood Rumble will be held at the Santa Cruz Portuguese Hall, which has more than ample parking for bikes, a full bar, an inside area for bands, and plenty of space for vendors and swappers to set up. There are also some of California’s best campgrounds a short ride from the venue.

Who's ready to party? Issue number three is about to drop, so we went ahead and raised the bar this time around. We are proud to announce that we have three killer bands lined up and we will be hosting the event at Don Quixote's in Felton, Ca. Details are on the flyer. • Ever wondered what feeds the mind of the fantasy/chopper-art legend Mitch Cotie? We talk in depth about his artwork, his inspirations, and his life.

• Cicero DeGuzman Jr. The man, the myth, the legend himself. We are very happy to be able to showcase the work of one of today's most influential motorcycle photographers. No words needed.

• Ride To Pines, not to be confused with the event put on by Biltwell, is an event organized and orchestrated by Daril of Mulberry Street Handmade Goods. Our Staff photog Lee Bender goes on a wild ride with this crew and in his typical wordsmith fashion lays it all out on paper for you to daydream about.

•Evelyn is nothing short of amazing. Our absolutely gorgeous friend was feeling a little frisky and decided to share her assets with our Basket Case Readers! Photographs taken by the equally gorgeous and extremely talented, Mrs. Dina Santos."

Hot Off The Press: Basket Case Magazine

Basket Case Magazine birthed in early 2016 by three buddies with a shared passion for motorcycles. Anxious to publish something out of Nor Cal, Josh Sheehan, Holly Anderson, and Ian Clark started the mag to focus on their scene of bikes, photographers, runs, clubs, and artists.
