HOTP: Greasy Kulture Issue 82

Greasy Kulture Magazine issue 82 features Kevin Goveia's Triumph chopper on the cover @speedandnoise – which was built using choice vintage parts collected over 12 years. Sometimes getting it just right takes time... [Photos: Dean 'Chooch' Landry @deanchoochlandry]

Dr. Sprocket co-founded the AMCA Five Chapter Run 20 years ago and brings us a report from this year's get-together, with photos of some of the attendees and their bikes. [Photos: Marc Gallin @antiquemotorcycleclubamca]

Dave Polgreen @djp210 has featured in our pages before (he first graced our cover way back in 2007!) and we love this, a killer Knucklehead chopper built from his stash of rare 'best of' vintage chopper parts. [Photos: Mark Kawakami @joyartco]

Michael 'The Fireman' Birks hails from London and is a big twin flathead convert: he built and painted this beautifully sanitary 1940 UL with a little help from his friends. And it's ridden hard! [Photos: Gary Margerum @garymargerum]

From Japan comes Shun @current_wall and his '74 FXE: he's owned this bike for a long, long time and will never sell it. It saved his life. [Photos: Suntee/Mochi @sunteemochi]

No one loves a stock Knuck (with all the rare doo-dads) more than us, especially when it's as fresh from the freezer as Paul Whitehurst's @36knucklehead amazing '47! [Photos: Mark Kawakami @joyartco]

Mike Davidson @chekdavidson happens to be a good friend and neighbour of one of Australia's premier bike builders, Matt Machine @themachinefiles – and this, Mike's Panhead, is the result! [Photos: Roger Chambers @misterlowlight]

We couldn't believe the terrible news that Glen Crossland @glen_likeschoppers had passed away as we were about to feature his Panhead; we talked to the bike's builder and Glen's good friend Lloyd Williams @keepitcountryuk about his memories of Glen and the build. Marc Felix is one of the organizers of the epic Normandy Beach Race in France @normandybeachrace so we had to ask him why he started the event – and how he came to build his own fire-breathing, racing Knuck. [Photos: Garry Stuart @garrystuartphoto]
