The prolific and talented painter has been laying lines and spewing candy on helmets, signs, panels, and tanks for years. Heroes Run III - ChopCult members Joe, Justin, and Rudy are at it again. They've built another bike that will be ridden home by one lucky person. This year's bike is a custom '83 Harley Ironhead Chopper. Each $25 voucher you purchase gets put in the drawing. YOU MUST BE PRESENT FOR THE DRAWING. No exceptions. You must be at least 18 years old and live in Virginia to purchase your voucher online. Please note that voucher purchases are not tax deductible. Online voucher sales will close at 11:59 p.m. on September 10, 2016. You can also buy vouchers at the event. All proceeds raised will go to Connor's Heroes Foundation. Connor's Heroes® gives support and companionship to children in cancer treatment and their families.

BMW Airhead Drag Bike by 33 member Dexter

So far I have spent my time in the Sportster Forum on a build thread and while this has progressed I started looking for some ideas for a new project. You know the one just look won't buy anything just yet need to finish........ sound familiar ?
Anyway you already know what happened but here's the back story.... been looking a old BMW's for a while and looked at the growing scene in Europe for Cafe Racers and the like at the same time going to my local Drag Racing meets and thinking i would like to see if i could combine the 2.
Plenty of time doing homework and picked out a old plunger frame as the bike of choice so a R50 / R69 type, looks like they were going to be hard to come by so hatch a plan to buy just a frame and buy parts as they come up, found a frame in USA but missed it as organising shipping turned into a nightmare. It was all looking a bit of a lost cause when chance phone call which coincided with a planned weekend break just came together - the stars must have been aligned just right.-Dexter

SOCAL TRACKER Raffle Announcement
Many of you have purchased a tire kit from Burly Brand and received a free ticket for the chance to win their So Cal Tracker. The drawing was postponed until this Saturday due to the recent loss of Burly Brand employee Jim Hogg. Jim helped Sean build the SOCAL Tracker and his untimely death has left a void for the whole Burly Brand crew. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jim's family and friends during this difficult time. RIP Jim.
The winner will be announced this Saturday at LAHD in Anaheim, CA. We'll share the winner's information on the build thread and CC's social media. Best of luck !- Lisa

This weekend - Voodoo and Burnt Rubber IV
Voodoo & Burnt Rubber is an art, bike, car & music show. As we enter our 4th year of putting on the show we will be moving VBR to downtown Buffalo in 2016. The event will be held on Saturday, July 23rd at SPACE. While our time at Broken Sprocket Garage has been great, we have outgrown the garage space. Don't worry, Dave and Broken Sprocket will continue on with everything he does to make this event what it is. In fact, Dave is working on a complete custom build to be raffled off at VBR IV! One lucky attendee will be riding off on a full custom build. Keep your eyes peeled for updates on Instagram and this site.- Chris

Here we go again!
In honor of the builders efforts, brands and followers of The Greasy Dozen, we will once again put on a corn boil and bonfire at my bro Dale's farm. Riders will be treated to a well-researched rip through some of Ohio's best back roads. The Greasy Dozen Run remains a traditional, intimate gathering of like-minded folks for a great Friday pre-party and Saturday ride. Festivities include camp out complete with free corn boil, free tenting and free people. Grassroots builders and riders kicking it, for a down-home season finisher!
All brands of cycles are welcome!
PRE-PARTY: Friday Night September 30th at the start point 7-10pm 1454 North Grant Ave. at the Compound Columbus Ohio Door Prizes and swag! Musical Guests will be Ride To Ruin and we'll all roll out to a local watering hole afterward.
SATURDAY GROUP RIDE: Departs October 1st at 12 Noon from The Rice Paddy Compound 1454 North Grant Ave. Columbus Ohio rain, shine or winds through the countryside to the Clark Family farm at 1620 Cuckoo Rd. Peebles Ohio 45660
P.S. There will be a CASH prize of $500 for the rider that rides the longest distance to attend + swag and door prizes at the pre-party along with awards at the run!
