By our friends @ Biltwell Inc.
This is a simple motorcycle camping trip in a beautiful area that offers a ton of great riding to and all around the campground. The Frandy Campground is centrally located in Kernville, right on the Kern River. The river is low, but it is running and is open for tubing, fishing and cooling off. Beer and water will be available in the group area, and there are bars and restaurants within walking distance so there is no reason to drink and ride. We will show old biker movies on the side of the Biltwell box van near spots 32/33 when it's dark enough to see them. There may or may not be s'mores. The whole thing is an informal bike show since all of want to look at cool motorcycles that get ridden—not trailer queens. A few judges will walk around Sunday morning and pick the winners from the machines parked around the campground.
Awards:
Best Chopper
Best Cafe Bike
Street Chopper Magazine's Pick
Huber’s Choice. (This campground was our friend Chris Huber’s idea so we thought he should have his own award.)
Duane Ballard is customizing some trophies, and you will want one.
Camping is free for Friday and Saturday night for this first annual event.
Next year there will be a small fee.
