This weekend folks - May 10,2013 - East Coast California or Bust!
CALIFORNIA OR BUST!
From Bear
Many of you watched as my merry band of riders from Old Bike Barn journeyed west to California last year. After a series of mishaps on our 30 year old choppers, we missed Born Free 4 by 24 hours. Well, as they say "if at first you don't succeed"...
So I'm at it again this year and I wanted to do something to bring together like minded people for a sort of "DEPARTURE PARTY". I ran the idea by my friends Bobby and Elisa at Indian Larry Motorcycles and Walter at Kick Start Cycle Supply and we cooked up this little event. Lostwire kicked in some art and here we are.
This is an opportunity for people leaving from the East Coast to connect and for those that can't do the ride to show their support/be part of the fun. This is a DEPARTURE PARTY not a sanctioned run of 3000 miles... that would be no fun for us free spirits, but I'm going at it with a whoever meets on the road, "meets on the road" attitude and rolling out the following day May 11th California bound.

Check out the Mako tail light from Biltwell Inc.
Here's a look at our Mako tail light compared to a generic Sparto repop. The lens on ours is roughly the same size but the body is about 5/8 scale for a tidy look on just about any custom motorcycle. Note that you can sandwich our laser-cut license plate mount between the light and your fender. The Mako comes in black or polished aluminum for $119.95 and is available here.
